So you forgot to mute your mic... Whats the funniest/worst thing you have said or heard?!
I started baby talking my fiancé... LFG guardian replies, "someone forgot to mute their mic!" Hahah i played it off pretty well anyways and convinced him it was weird to change who you are so people don't think less/differently of you :D

Edit 2: Does anyone ever call the Unmuted person out? How did they defend themselves?

Had someone in my party doing trials. I muted him and told my friend "dude this guy sucks complete ass we just need to be like well we're getting offline man thanks for trying with us and then just find someone else" Turns out I accidentally muted my friend, not the other guy ...

Random proceeds to answer his phone and discuss a significant drug deal, oblivious to the fact we can hear both sides of the conversation. He arranges a time, place and amount then calls his [u]dad[/u] to sort out the money and transport. During this conversation we are whispering to each other "does he know we can hear everything". One of our guys even suggested an interception!!! After five minutes or so he comes 'back' and continues as if nothing happened. TL;DR - If drug dealers had coke for brains they'd struggle to form a line....

I forgot to mute my mic when reciting the Cantata of Satanus and everyone in the party became part of the ritual. Long story short I need a new fire team that knows how to set up a protective circle of salt and can do hard mode crota.

One guy left his mic on while his brother was singing "Sugar" at the top of his voice with a BAD voice. We didn't say anything we just couldn't stop laughing. Think he got the idea since he was silent for the whole game

A kid said he had to "go clean his ps4" right before skolas. Turns out he though that PoE had checkpoints and he only tried using us to get there for his two other friends. He came back to the party begging us to let him back in. Poor guy.. Still don't think he's ever done skolas!

9 RepliesWhen the X1 first came out, I didn't realize that muting someone in party worked differently than on 360. On 360 when you muted someone in party, they couldn't hear you either. Not the case on the X1. So I was in a party with like four of my friends, and then this one guy I didn't know. A few of them had met this other guy online somewhere. And he was suuuuuuper annoying. So I muted him, and said, "Who the hell invited this annoying bungmuncher?" and everyone is just super quiet for a few seconds. *player left party* They burst out laughing, "dude that was raw" and it took me a minute to figure out. Messaged the guy apologizing, and we're actually pretty good friends now. Every now and then though, when he joins the party, I go, "Who the hell invited the annoying bungmuncher?" but now we laugh about it.

1 ReplyJust weeks before Destiny launched I had an experience like this in BF:4. I had just unlocked the "Turn Around" achievement and started singing an 80's song that says the same thing. One by one my squad kept leaving and I had no idea what would encourage them to leave a game we were winning. Eventually I realized why...I had not muted my Mic and was singing to an unwilling audience. It absolutely didn't help that I am an awful singer. I immediately left the match when I realized what happened and Battlefield just hasn't been the same since. However, I did learn a valuable lesson about microphone etiquette.

Was doing Poe last week and had to listen to a random talking to his buddy about delivering a bunch of coke. Then they started cutting up lines and snorting! Needless to say the gameplay went downhill fast.

I usually talk to myself a lot about what I think of what I'm doing and what I think of what the other guys are doing... *Tries to mute mic but doesn't* Team goes silent, because there was nothing happening, much. The only lvl 31 on the team attempts to go take cover, pushing me out in the open leading to my death "-blam!-ing A what the hell are you doing?" *Team dies* "What are you guys doing stupid, you're not supposed to go there" Guys on the team say: "S...T...F...U"

She really hated me and was crazy-obsessive jealous over me and this guys friendship, so she would always try to steal my kills(GoW) or boot me from games. Very passive aggressive. Well she left the match saying that she had to go to the store. I forgot that the four of us were in a party and I bluntly said "I hate that stupid c*nt bitch". Needless to say, she flipped out and sent me hate mail for months. Worth it....you're still a b.
