I'm sorry you got harassed over the internet because you don't fit the criteria of some people to participate in some activity.
In your best interests, you could stop rejecting people based on something no one is able to choose (sex), in order to not be rejected exactly in the same way by others.

I'm not sure -blam!- threats is the same thing as having a safe zone for women. If a bunch of women having a clan where they feel safe with equals that, then you're extremely odd.
