Clan that only allows women into it.... Sexism against males itself? Glad we only care about sexism going one way now.

Plenty of clans that require a certain KD. You are allowed to play with who you want. If they feel less discriminated against playing with each other then how is that affecting you?
-
That's like saying a job requires you to lift 50lbs multiple times a day, you can't do that you don't get the job, that's something you can improve on though unlike your sex. I said earlier down I don't have a problem with the dames, more bungie for supporting a sexist clan and no I'm not saying the dames set out to be sexist but in reality that's what happened.

That's sexist bro.
people obviously don't know what sexism is if they think it only affect women. Just like racism is only racist if it's against black people. The mass of the population is just stupid.
Well... Dads of destiny
-
Dad's of Destiny will take anyone of any gender. Not so much the clan Bungie chose to showcase yesterday.
-
Dames of destiny is the counterpart of dads of destiny smh
-
My bad carry on, although the gender bias is that some men mistreat women online based on gender, so an all women clan helps that. I am a guy, just btw

Edited by TrulyBobBarker: 7/30/2015 10:04:07 PMI'm a guy too and I'm not put out or pissed off at the dames, I don't care if you prefer to play with men or women either. Only problem I have is people trying to defend an obviously sexist guild that bungie helps promote, and yeah if a man can't be in your guild simply because he has some junk down stairs it's sexist.... I wonder would Bruce get in if he is still pre op or would he have to wait till he's post op.

K. Sorry. Point made, I agree

The idea behind Dames of Destiny is not sexist, and if you truly think it is then you are, frankly, a bit dim. DoD exists because they wanted to create a safe clan for female gamers - and judging by the sexism being thrown towards DoD it's easy to see why. Ever since DeeJ announced DoD would be playing online, all I've seen is sexist comments about how they'll no doubt be rubbish, or that they should be in the kitchen. This BS happens all the time and it's perfectly acceptable and not in any way sexist for there to be a clan for women. Honestly, I just don't get the mentality of people who are genuinely so irked by DoD.

Like I said I'm not pissed off at the dames, I could care less who they want to play with or how they want to play. I'm only upset at bungie, along with the white knights, who are promoting a sexist clan, yes it is sexist "discrimination or devaluation based on a person's sex or gender, as in restricted job opportunities, especially such discrimination directed against women". Dames are discriminating against men based on there sex, are men allowed in even if they are the nicest most kind hearted person in the world or is it simply an all girls club rejecting men because they have no choice on how they were born? Im not trying to say the founding principals of the dames was wrong either, a place where women can play with women and avoid the typical crap that happens when playing with men, I'm saying what happened in reality was sexism. Now if I made a clan that was exclusive to a specific color of person so they didn't have to hear derogatory remarks about there own race from someone outside there race would you say it's racist? Or would you commend me for making a safe place for a race of players, one step further would you be glad bungie was promoting my group? I know sexism and racism are different but they both are segregating people based on an attribute that nobody has control of.

How many times are people gona bring them up? DoD allow everyone.
