I don't see how a Thrall could necessarily be a boss on its own without first becoming an Ogre. Thrall are the weakest creatures in the game. If there [i]was[/i] a Thrall boss, imagine it severely resistant to all weapons types except for Kinetic, and it could summon other waves of Thrall and Cursed/Hallowed Thrall. Not only that, but the Thrall Boss could move faster than the other Thrall, and if it managed to touch you, it'd insta-kill.
That would make it terrifying.
Other than that, I would like to see another Vex boss instead of Hydras. Maybe a Harpy, maybe a Minotaur. The worst boss imaginable is a Hobgoblin, but I would love to see Bungie create that just to see how sadistic they can truly be... haha.

One make a void shield, one makes a solar shield, and one makes an arc shield. Maybe, you need to kill all the witches to destroy the shields (the witches have void, solar and arc shields unlike all the other witches which are just solar all the time). Once you kill the witch, you can destroy the shield. Once you kill all witches, you destory all the shield, you can hit him. But, he's immune to elemental weapons. Only kinetic damage hits him. Problem is- I've never seen a special or heavy weapon with kinetic. Primary-only boss! Yay!

That's a cool idea but they did similar with the cabal PoE boss and gally shreds his shield regardless of what burn it is so they'd have to make the shields insanely high or immune to other burn types

That was my idea of a Thrall boss. I think it's going to be a raid boss.
