Could just mean that they were weapons designed by that class. Like an LMG designed by the titans, or a sniper rifle designed by the hunters. They may even be sold by the Ikora, Cayde, and Zavala.

No doesn't make sense. There are already weapons and armor designed by a class, like ahamkara armor is made by warlocks. It's nothing new.

They never said it's a new concept though. They mentioned faction weapons and that's already thing.

I don't understand your first sentence. Also, neither of us can be certain whether they will bee useable by only one class until bungie releases that info. I was simply stating another possibility
