Simple question. If TTK turns out to be overhyped will you leave?
EDIT: Why would I leave if TTK is a disappointment? Because this is the last chance and last straw. I've given bungie to many chances, and too much money. This DLC is gonna be the most expensive and if I get an overhyped Piece of horse shit again then I'm done.
To be honest though, bungie has Greatly improved the game since the TDB disaster. So I highly doubt they'll ruin this DLC.

Probably. I've put a ton of time into Destiny and I've enjoyed it, but the DLC has been lackluster at best. If all we got left to look forward to is continued expensive, underperforming DLC, I'll probably go ahead and move on.
-
I have pre-ordered it and this is it, if it fails I'm out.
-
Maybe. In going to wait for the reviews after it gets released. Not enough reasons to preorder.
-
Destiny, probably. Destiny 2? I'm trying that no matter what, assuming it is current-get only. Last-gen hurt the first game and held back Bungie's ambitions, even taking into account Activision. If Destiny 2 suffers from that which Destiny 1 suffers from, last-gen problems I mean, then we'll know it's either incompetence or refusal to evolve or develop properly on Bungie's part. Plus, assuming current pricing structure holds, we can simply wait until the final DLC releases for Destiny 4 and just buy a collector's version that comes with every DLC from all 4 games and all 4 games all for less than $100 right?

Edited by CharacterZ3RO: 7/28/2015 12:33:28 AMYou mean when it fails. Bungie doesn't care if you leave. You spent 130 dollars already, you did your part and you still are gonna suck them off again blindly. How about wait a few weeks. Don't buy it day one, wait for it to show itself as the inevitable garbage let down it will be and then buy it used.

This is my exact thought process. I like to think Bungie realizes that this is the final straw for a lot of players. The season pass kept a lot of people around longer than they would have stayed by themselves. Destiny 2 will hopefully take full advantage of everything they learned from destiny so far. The ten year plan won't work out if they continue to make the player base feel like they are missing or just don't have enough content.

I'm leaving anyway

Stopped playing, just lurk around and hope to read something good in the weekly updates. So far nothing has made me go "wow"
...To be honest though, bungie has Greatly improved the game since the TDB disaster...
IMHO - trials and the elimination game mode aside - HoW is way more of a disappointment. Sure they fixed a bunch of issues in the game in the run up to HoW, but the content of HoW was just poor. The missions were a bit better than tDB, but everything else was lacklustre. PoE especially is the most boring content in the game - and worse than that, it offers no rewards worth playing it for. Additionally they made a huge mistake allowing weapon ascension and rolling - these 2 changes alone have completely negated the point of playing most content, as you either can't get a weapon better than the old raid gear - or you only need a single drop because you then just re-roll to get the exact blend of perks you want. I can only hope that these 2 changes are not carried forward into tTK

I'm already in too deep to leave now
-
Same exact post right before HoW came out.

I'm going to buy TTK, but honestly I don't really know what about it is going to keep me hooked. I'll run the raid, play the missions, and grind a few new weapons, but Halo 5 and Fallout 4 are right around the corner. While Destiny is awesome with the core gameplay mechanics, it feels hollow, and if that trend continues, there's no way I'll play more than a month.
-
I'm already half way out the door
-
Maybe
-
Hell yes. HoW was a complete let down. Too many other good games coming. I'm excited about the new subclasses and the quests involved with unlocking them, but if there isn't some serious content added, I'm out.
-
About 5% really will leave Lol
-
Hey, third times the charm, right?
-
I'm leaving as soon as I acquire Hardlight.
-
Already left bye bitches
-
the balance of this game is really messed up. They're hoping that new legendaries draw you in when its the exotics that should. So many exotics now are basically matched or beaten out by the new legendary weapons. Especially since exotic primaries dont have burns.
-
50% of people who said yes lied.
-
I am leaving even if it is good on 11-19-16 Star Wars Battlefront!!!!!!'
-
From what I understand is being added it sounds like TTK is under hyped as of right now.
-
I'm already like one foot out the door.
