Why are you still using the 9-0 emblem?
Because frankly, every time I see someone using it in the crucible they're at the bottom of the scoreboard.
Edit: Do it like the rest of us, let your gameplay do the bragging.

Everyone kept on dieing, and I was usually in a 1vs3 situation, or one of my teammates were. So I 'practiced', I have never used Thorn for an extended period of time in PvP, but since it was my first primary that was not blue quality, I had it maxed out. So I began to use Thorn over Mida and Hawkmoon. The first time Pantheon came on, I was determined to have fun. Flawless was just an accolade. Loot is my thing. So I joined randoms (From LFG), and due to NAT issues they couldnt hear me. So we all had no mic. We then proceeded to do good, very good. With communication we would have been unstoppable. We lost our mercy to a very good team, and sunce that match I switched from Hawkmoon to Thorn. I was at 5-0 and the other two were at 6-0, yet I still had to buy the two for one boon. Time came when I was at 7-0. Feeling confident, I bought the boon. The last match was really, really tough, but a clutch like Bladedance and Backstab chain of kills secured our victory. We had made it, with no form of communication outside of dancing, waving, crouching etc. So in honour of that feat, I wear the emblem, and also as I sign that I had fun.

It's something we earned and we're proud of it man. What's so bad about using an emblem? Unless we're shoving it in your face and sending you hate mail, using the emblem shouldn't be a problem.

I usually only wear mine to make my friends who haven't gone flawless jealous. Even though I've only gone flawless once, and was definitely the least effective member of my team. I honestly like my Moon of Osiris emblem better so I wear it if I'm feeling like showing off my Trials rewards.

I thought that only players that went flawless yesterday use that shitty amblem, but guess I'm wrong. I just wonder how those flawless gods are on the bottom of the list almost all the time.

Let me start out by saying, I suck at PVP and I don't go in unless a bounty requires it or IB has something I want. That being said, this is why I don't do ToO, because I know I'm not good enough to go flawless without being carried and this shows that earning the emblem, and wearing it in game, leaves a lot of doubt and presents a false claim. The only reason you would know someone did it on their own skill is to take the time and look at their stats or come here and see them post they did it for real (some with a grain of salt mind you). I think a great way for the PVP'rs to have something of their own (not weapons or such just an emblem) is to have a mode of ToO, that only if your PVP stat's are above a certain number you can enter, no matter if you are part of a team. Kind of like trying to do PoE before you complete the bounty you get the "some players can't enter this mode" type message. This way you don't get as much backlash of people saying "I paid for content" etc. since it's just an emblem and nothing else. Like I said, I don't play PVP often or at all so I'm not going to have the emblem either (check my stats), but I think this would separate the wheat from the chaff so to speak for the PVP side. Kind of a "Bragging rights only" emblem, but no one is being left out from getting weapons or armor. Just a thought.

2 RepliesOne: its the only exotic emblem. Two: it looks cool Three: level advantage enabled teamwork is MUCH harder than control or clash. You have a lot more to gain or lose. Crucible has zero downsides to losing a team match. You still get rewarded. Most of the time i go vip i get nothing. Four: Who gives a flying -blam!-? Five: Coming onto the forums to boast your skills in crucible over an emblem you see is just showing us you are a butthurt beta-male who cannot understand the fact that going into crucible to win... is counted productive to the reward system. Playing to win and playing to "be better than the rest" are two different things. And those of us who perfers to win in a challenging situation like to use our emblems to show we accomplished something. Playing to be "better than the rest" when there isn't much incentive to... other than to boast like a chump...... is silly. This isn't the pokemon intro.
