Hate this. What it does is it penalizes paying customers who do not want to go "hardcore friendly" and/or who don't have "regularly scheduled game time". I'm a dad of 3 (THREE!!!) little bitties. They go to sleep when they want. Additionally, I have a pretty intense job (I'm a knowledge worker, but still, its intensive), I also have a wife and hell if she likes seeing me playing this damned game. I have a few stolen late night moments. This all means I want in, get the experience and get out games in Destiny. I want SOOO BAD to run THE CONTENT WHICH I PAID FOR but am defeated by coordination of more humans. I do that literally all day at the office. This is down time. The actual game takes hours each meaningful stretch, and they want more. I don't like the forced hand. Hate it. I could wax Crota's ass. I could wax Aetheon's ass. I could wax Skola's ass, but, nope. I paid 60 + 20 + 20 to watch YouTube videos of those fights. So much watching I've learned the strategies intimately (essentially cheating when I do finally get in - E.g., NOT what bungie wanted of me, and ruins the experience). It's just dumb. And getting more and more annoying as time goes on.
