My Favorite Thing about Year One

I don't have any sort of art, videos, music to show of what my favorite thing about Year One of Destiny is. Rather, it is something I can only express through words, mainly because I don't have tools to create it. So, my favorite thing about Year One of Destiny is how Bungie always stuck through with their dream of going on with Destiny. In the beginning, there was a five-hundred million dollar dream called Destiny, something so large and expansive that it would be one of the Holy Grails of Gaming. It had space magic, it had the feels of Borderlands mixed in with Halo and much more, all with that Bungie sparkle. Then, the game came and the fans loved it, yet hated it. The gameplay is one of the best first-person shooters out there, but the story, we didn't expect it to be this. Some people quit because of the RNG, others because of Cryptarch's shenanigans of screwing us over with our engrams. All in all, the game had confusion and mystery. Bungie, however, still walked forward, no.... did multiple marathons into making this a game that everyone would enjoy. They made sure that the Cryptarch wasn't stingy, that the RNG system was more loose and did weapon balances. They improved the servers to where they calmed down the Bees, and turned what Dark Below had a mess, and made it a lot better with House of Wolves, all because of the community. With the Taken King nearby, of having a mass amount of guns, unique ones but aren't even exotics but just awesome looking legendary weaponry, a story that we all have been waiting for to see and taking a person from the community into being one of the community managers, is my favorite thing about Year One of Destiny, is of how Bungie stuck through with their plan to make this game more amazing than it ever had before and listening to us because they care about us, even if sometimes it didn't look like it. Bungie, thank you so much for always staying on this plan for Destiny, for listening to the fans and making this Year One one heck of a trip until Year Two comes. It has been an amazing experience and, even though a bit skeptical, am very excited about The Taken King to see more of what your team's vision is to become of Destiny.
