its because handcannons are the most used weapons class at the moment, and thorn and tlw are the most used exotics in pvp, bungie wants to keep things changing just like they did with the auto rifle nerf, I assume handcannons in the future will recieve a nerf as well, but the thorn nerf is severely needed seeing as its the most over powered pvp gun

Like I stated yes thorn needs a nerf. But they are doing the exact same thing to handcannons as they did to autorifles. Making them obsolete. Bungie doesnt seem to learn from their mistakes
