It's a consumable for a the ghost, you technically don't eat it.
But in a world where girlfriend/boyfriend can be replaced with bae, I don't think words have much meaning anymore.
It's just what you say, you are consuming it, I don't think it's that big a deal. You don't technically "Pop" it either.....
