I really dislike the Ranger Hardcore in the second game because it completely removed important shit like knowing how much money (mil-spec bullets) I had or knowing important equipment values/quantities. Or what I just picked up off of the ground or a corpse. I understand that it was supposed to increase the immersion of the game but if anything i felt it was counterproductive in doing that since I was effectively flying blind.
