Whether you love this or hate it, please let me know! Please Favorite/bump for visibility! ****************************************************** TABLE OF CONTENTS: (TLDR) Clan Filter in Friends List In-Game Clan Settings & Leaderboards Clan Level Clan Reputation Clan Achievements Clan Emblems & Shaders Clan Rewards Clan Tower Area ****************************************************** Clan Filter in Friends List An option to view only Clan members in your friends list, making it easier to quickly see which members are online and what they are doing. In-Game Clan Settings and Leaderboards A way to view a clan's general info (# of members, Clan level, admins) in-game. This page would also have the option to Request to Join for non-members, and a basic Approve-Deny option presented to Clan admins in this same menu. This should include a way to access various Clan Leaderboards. -Internal leaderboards would allow members could see how much individuals have contributed to Clan Level, members' Clan Ranks, etc. -General leaderboards would show Clan rank compared to other Clans in terms of PvP Kills, Assists, Deaths, Zones Captured, Wins, etc. PvE Kills, Raid Clears, Time Played... You name it. Clan Level Just like regular player levels, but they require enormous amounts of XP collectively gained by all clan members. Completing events with Clan Fireteams could grant bonus CXP, encouraging Clan activity. There could also be Clan bounties that are completed collectively by members for bonus CXP. Clan Levels would give players a better idea of how active a Clan is. To accurately portray this, XP requirements should have at least some weighted correlation with the number of Clan members so that a 100 man group couldn't grind it out in a day while small Clan struggled for months. The levels could be correlated with rewards and additional access to high-level Clan Events. Clan Reputation You achieve a personal Clan Rank in the form of Clan Reputation, just like any faction. This can be earned by completing activities in Clan FireTeams and completing Clan challenges/events. Clan bounties would also grant bonus Clan reputation. If you leave a Clan, you lose that Clan Reputation. This encourages loyalty within the group. It also helps control who can buy Clan Rewards as discussed below. Clan Achievements Basically with the same requirements as Grimoire progression. Harder challenges similar to those of the game trophies could be implemented as well. These achievements would obviously include both PvE and PvP challenges. Examples: Complete VoG in a Clan Fireteam in less than 30 minutes. Completing 100, 200, and 500 Clash/Control/Skirmish etc. Matches in a Clan Fireteam. 10k, 50k, and 100k Dreg Kills for Rank 1, 2 and 3 respectively. Kills would only be counted towards the total once you've joined the Clan. Clan Emblems and Shaders A choice from a variety of emblems and backgrounds. Choose your two. Obviously it doesn't guarantee it will be unique but creates greater variety. Even if we could not choose the combination, Emblems exclusively unlocked by Clan achievements and challenges would be sweet. If we could do custom shaders in a similar fashion, that would be amazing. A basic Pick-3 system where you have access to basic colors up front, and then as your Clan leveled up and completed achievements, you would unlock additional colors for use. If customer shaders are too far off, Clan shaders that are exclusively unlocked via Clan achievements would be alright. The Clan admin could choose which shader is used, or these could just be normal shader rewards that become available for purchase with necessary Clan Rank and Level. Clan shaders and emblems are like jerseys for any team. Lots of Clans will already correlate these. Clan Rewards These are the things you unlock by gaining Clan Levels and completing Clan Achievements. Quality of rewards will obviously correlate with the difficulty of the achievement. These rewards will all require a respective Clan Rank in order to be purchased, which ensures players cannot simply join a high ranking clan, buy the rewards, and leave. Items that would include the Clan Emblem, similar to the Queen's Rewards: Ships Class items Other Misc. Items: Additional vault space Improved Vendor Prices Clan buffs for improved reputation, XP gains, and glimmer drops Consumables for greater reputation, XP gains, and glimmer drops Weapon Skins "Novelty" items, like the Jackolyte. Maybe smokescreens and lasers for a TOWER DANCE PARTY?? List is ongoing... Clan Tower Area Further down the road, when the Tower has a lot more places to go, it would be cool to see an area with restricted access. Imagine a moderately big area with vendors that deal a mix of normal items and Clan Rewards like those listed above. It could be a multi-tiered room where you must have a sufficient Clan Level/Rank in order to get to the next tier and, in turn, those higher level vendors. If there were a shooting range with target games at the top level, I guarantee people would be working their asses off to gain access. This is obviously an idea for a far distant sequel but cool to discuss nonetheless.
