The Bow is made for PvP. It trades off with the short charge time, but in return sports a great scope, huge reserve and easy headshots. PvE, you're better off with anything else.

  • You must have crazy hand-eye coordination to call this a PVP weapon. I did alright with it, but man it is not easy to use in PVP.

  • It has a learning curve but once you get it down it's great.

  • Yeah, I still haven't gotten over the hump with it yet for pvp. I'll definitely be playing with it again. 24 kills and 1.5 k/d the first time I tried it out in the crucible. Not sure if that was the competition or the weapon, or both. Definitely requires a different play style than I've been used to. I'm more of a jump in the fray type of player since patch 1.1.1. This weapon forced me to control the range a lot more.

  • Once you get headshots down, it is a beast. Landing multiple headshots in a row is really satisfying

  • Noticed that for PVE and PVP. This weapon relies heavily on landing head shots.

  • It takes some getting used to, but its easier to use than a sniper rifle because its more forgiving. I've seen someone collateral 2 players that were standing NEXT to each other because of the crazy huge hit box. That maxed aim assist stat comes in handy when learning to track targets far way.

  • That's impressive. I prefer using an actual sniper rifle with decent aim assist like Longbow, her benevolence or LDR. Charge time, inability to pre-charge consistently, and the slower bullet speed all ruined this weapon for me as a dedicated sniper rifle for the crucible. I think it's going to be even worse after 2.0 with the slower fusion rifle travel speed. Leading targets from sniper rifle distance and actually hitting your target is more luck than skill.
