I hope so. His growth was absolutely astounding. And had he not been injured, he would have a ring by now. Rookie of the Year to MVP a year or two later? That's incredible. He was just that sort of "Wow" player. But he needs to rebound. Start working on his shooting but also strengthen his lower body. Because when Derrick Rose is in motion, he instantly transforms into one of the most dangerous players in the NBA. Only Russell Westbrook surpasses him that regard IMO.

 • I swear! Honestly, I remember watching him in 2008-09 while I was 10 and not knowing what I was watching. I was watching greatness unfold before my eyes and I treated it like it was another player doing this stuff. The same thing happened in 2010-11. I knew what he wanted and what he got. But I didn't understand the magnitude of it until now. During 2012-13, 2013-14, I realized that you have to appreciate what you got until it's gone. And now, I just wanna see him go back to that and prove the entire world wrong.

 • I feel the exact same way. That's why I try to catch games now as often as I can. Greatness should be appreciated. And even if Derrick rose doesn't make a return, he's already made his mark as one of the most explosive players the NBA has ever seen. I hope KD comes back next year as well. He's my favorite player to watch but for the past few years it's just been bad luck. I really want him to win a ring.

 • I sympathized with Thunder fans when I heard about KD. He's so humble and just wants to win. It sucks because it seems like the players that actually have heart end up last while all the cocky and arrogant players get there jewelry first.

 • It's unbelievable. Honestly, I was ashamed at this years finals. Both teams worked hard but there were so many things wrong. Oh the western conference side? Spurs lost in the first round to a Championship level Clippers team. Thunder, a perennial title contender were out of the playoffs due to injuries. Said Championship level clippers squad chokes. And I mean Choke to the Rockets. I'm not even a Clippers fan but them losing that series just hurt me, So the Warriors had to deal with Anthony Davis with no help, a Memphis squad that needs three point shooting, and A Lucky Rockets team. They did not have to face any team that actually had a chance at winning a title. And on the Eastern side? Bulls gave up in game six. As a collective team. No one person was at fault. They just stopped playing in third quarter at home. Hawks? Lost two players, Kyle Korver was cold and overall they just Collapsed in the Conference Finals. They fought hard but just came up short due to some iffy calls as well. And then going into the Finals? Warriors have to deal with Lebron James backpacking the -blam!- out of a Cavs squad that had eight players in the rotation. So it was a really disappointing playoff series for me.
