Batman: Arkham Knight (Spoilers)

What did you guys think about the game? I have a review I wrote up, but did you think it was a satisfying end to the series? I think it was the best of them all. Here's my review: Batman: Arkham Knight - 9.25 It's finally over. This game marked the end of the Arkham series for Batman. As an avid and dedicated lover for the game and series I am proud to say this was a very satisfying conclusion to the story of The Dark Knight and his conquest over the Arkham psychos. First, the plot. And, oh, man was there a plot. The whole story, I will avoid spoilers, is focused on defeating and capturing Scarecrow, the master of fear. A mysterious figure, known as the Arkham Knight, seeking vengeance with the Bat aids Scarecrow with his master plan. Now, still avoiding spoilers, the Knight played a much smaller part, although he is still tied with Crane for main protagonist, than I expected. (10/10) Second, the characters. Some unexpected appearances from [REDACTED] continued to surprise me throughout the game. All of Batman's main villains, along with some new personalities were there and better than ever. The Riddler being one of the big goons from the previous games continues to not disappoint with his many enigmas spread across the city. He will truly test the World's Greatest Detective. (10/10) Finally, the gameplay. This game handled the same as the others, but there was one thing that really changed the experience: the Batmobile. It's a fun addition to the game, but I think it was a bit overused. Sure the tank fights are fun, but I feel that about 30% of the game was spent in the Batmobile, which is A LOT of time. Also, there is nothing stealthy about the tank that Batman drives through the streets of Gotham. So my question is, "why make an objective where Batman has to stealthily maneuver through alleys to take down other tanks?" The whole Batmobile idea just seems out of place to me. I also feel there were not enough "boss fights" in the game. Sure there are plenty of major criminals but only a few had an actual fight to them. (9/10) Was it fun? Absolutely. The best, in my opinion, of the whole series. There was the extremely rich story and the gameplay that fans can reminisce in for quite a while. It's much different, but you can feel the similarities.

  • 7/10 Very good game but pc release was unplayable and there were glitches on consoles sometimes. The reveal of arkham night was obvious and it had been done before (the arkham games before this one always had a rich, original story) the bat mobile was fun at first but then they just forced u to use it in everything and it got repetitive
