They are nerfing shotguns. They clearly don't want us sniping. What do they want us to use? Sidearms? Pfffffft >spits in disgust< Do they expect us to use fusion rifles after the heavy nerfing?

Have the wittle widiots and Bungieeee not conswidered bwuffing instead of nerfing? They really are being stubborn babies about their own game, they just really don't seem to care.

Maybe you think Nerf means nerf to utter uselessness. But it isn't. What's overpowered and is overpopulating is what's being nerf'd. I shouldn't get kicked from games because I don't have gjallarhorn, I won't get one shot at medium range by a shotgun, I won't get one shot to the foot by a sniper. They're keeping you in check, and if you're skill is to the level of last word and a shotgun, then you clearly can't handle using skill to kill an enemy.

You have a very odd definition of medium range. A "long range" shotgun optimized with range perks starts using significant damage falloff at about 15 yards. That's not medium range. That's close quarters.

They suck as it is in PvE in comparison to shotguns or snipers, they're very rarely seen in PvE or PvP because it's far easier to pick up a shotgun that can do what it does within it's range except better, and the only fusion rifles I seldom see used are Vex Mytho and Breaker Bow, which will get affected by the nerf as well. Bungie needs to stop getting nerf happy, and buff some gun types to balance rather than just nerfing their way there. Now I agree with final round, shot package, Thorn and Last Word adjustments, but fusion rifles as a whole desperately needed a damage buff in PvE... but instead get range and projectile speed nerfs.

I can understand your point about fusion rifles, but they aren't a big thing. And it's not their fault, Bungie just had a poor plan for them. They were planned to be the perfect mid-range weapon that is hard to use up close and can't hit targets afar. But This update didn't seem to be about them it looks like they focused everything on the other weapons like the exotic hand cannons. But yes, fusion rifles need attention. They need a better look on them. This update seemed more to squish the useless and OP into a line, but they did leave fusion rifles behind in the uselessness section. They buffed no land Beyond and nechrochasm and the auto rifles. But if they were buffing everything to last word TTK then I would quit destiny immediately.
