So, okay, another crappy post you'll think. Probably. I don't know, and truly I don't care. I just want to get some stuff out of my head and share it with my fellow guardians. So what better place than the Bungie Forums. Yeah, I'm one of those grinders who put 1000+ hours into the game and still doesn't have the... wait for it... .... okay, you probably guessed it by now so I won't say it's name out loud. Actually I get by really good with my Hunger and don't complain that much about not having it. But my friends (who all have it) keep making fun of me.. I do the same with another friend who has no Hawkmoon (I got four, he got four gallys so we save one of each for the other when maybe sometime maybe trading is going to happen) so that's not really a problem. Got kicked out of several fireteams for not having a Gjally (yeah, really, they do that *#1$*) and that was not so funny and I felt really bad, while actually they should feel bad. But okay, I got over it, rarely use destinylfg anymore, because of that. Got a solid base of friends who don't care I don't own it. So why do I want it? It's getting nerfed, I know, I read every post, especially patch notes. I like to collect. Got all the exotic weapons except ... Even all the new Queens weapons are in my arsenal. (okay, still waiting for Variks to call me for the last one) And also got all the exotic armor except those hunter boots. I will get them sometime soon I guess. So long story *whine whine* about a RL. I don't want to come over like that. Got flawless ToO 11 or 12 times by now, yup, using the thorn in combination with a fellwinter or efrideet. So I don't have anything to whine about. But I'm still going to do it! This morning, like always, a timer at 11 am (Amsterdam Timezone) (yup, I'm dutch, so bad english my sorry for) Hoping, like always, for that moment he's gonna make me happy. And what do I see...... ..... wait for it..... Nothing.. Hmm... That's not right. Something is messed up. Xur isn't selling a weapon? Well, I myself am a programmer, application developer, web dev, whatever. So I know something is wrong. (Yeah genius, like we don't know you'd say) I know RNG, use it in my scripts myself. So in mine opinion pulled Xur (was a number generated) something that shouldn't be pulled today and got blocked by a different set of code or an employee.. So after messaging my friends what's going on, and nobody had an answer, just one thing came to mind. It was... WAS... going to sell it. Finally! And why would they block it? They going to nerf it. Okay, not to worry, Bungie is going to fix it. I guess.. A couple of hours later, finally, something on twitter.. They know about the thingy. I'm still at work watching the twitter feed every couple of minutes, waiting for a surprise, or better, my thoughts confirmed. But no, nothing. Dinner. nothing. Dessert.. yes, new post. WHAT!!?? Well, I thing everybody know the response. Okay, now I'm a little upset, not angry, but more a disappointed feeling. They couldn't fix it? Why not? When Megamanexe4 or whatever cracked the code for Xur, they could change it, but now they can't fix it? Is it because Xur would sell it and they don't want him to? I'm holding my grudge voor a couple of months now. One time I was even that desperate to get it that I deleted two characters to rebuild them in a day to get another chance that week. (just once) All my registered hours of those two are gone. They were warlocks and I rebuild a hunter and titan, so I got all classes now. Just less hours clocked. So yeah, now it was the time for me to let it out and share my frustration. I'm not buying the expansion for now. I'll just wait what my friends think about it and then probably going to buy it anyways. But I'm not giving them my money right now. [b]Little addon about the weapon nerfs[/b] Good job Bungie. Level the weapons please! Keep finetuning until you find the sweetspot!
