I have an idea; everyone stop complaining and wait until the actual update is applied.

The point is, once you hop on the nerf train, there's no hopping off.
-
But why does it matter? Just learn to deal with the changes. People complained, they changed stuff, and people still complain. It's absolutely ridiculous.
-
Those people who still complain are the people who are stuck on the side that no one listens to and no we shouldn't just get over it and let the devs do what they want
-
But it's the developers game?
-
Yeah well its a game i paid money for if its something i pay for it better be good just because its the devs game doesn't mean they can blam all over it
-
Just because you purchased something doesn't give you the right or anyone else the right to fill the forums with complaints and expect them to make a change.
-
Look i see now what you are trying to get at, bungie shouldn't listen to every 10 year old out there however if someone makes a complaint about crota's glitches bungie should listen and fix it
-
No that's not what I'm saying. Any age can complain but I think it shouldn't be filled with swear words. I think it would be interesting if the "community" could organize a group of representatives.

Edited by Acts7: 7/17/2015 7:13:44 PMI wasn't saying that as some certain age requirement i was giving an example of how immature some of these people are about how overpowered a weapon is just because they're getting killed by one
-
Well yeah I'd agree with some people being immature about getting killed easily or something being too hard. It's really impossible for me to tell how old some of these people are cause they could be 38 and whine about being slammed by Crota lol. I just think complaints are better when they are constructed positively. Just my opinion.
-
Very good statement and i agree

Let me start off by saying I am not "Acts7". We are related by birth. So lets pretend you''re into sports. And when you picked a cable company one of the deciding factors was they had NFL coverage. Now lets go down the road six months and they nerf ALL NFL games. What do you do? Well, according to your post, we know exactly what YOU DON'T DO You would never complain "and expect them to make a change."
-
I'd find another way to watch it, or I'd switch companies. And if I did "complain," I'd express it without swear words, or if I saw that someone else already said something I'd express agreement. See, complaining is fine, but when it becomes negatively constructed, rampant, and demanding, then it's just ridiculous.

"" But why does it matter? Just learn to deal with the changes. People complained, they changed stuff, and people still complain. It's absolutely ridiculous. "" The thing is it does matter to some people And quite frankly its those raising the loudest voice who have the most potential to be huge fans of the product. Don't get me wrong I hate "whining". The non-stop bickering I abhor it. What I do like to see is "I don't like.... xxyyzz... Here's my solution..." So in that sense I agree with you. The problem is game companies in general ignore their fans request. So raising a loud voice and making numerous posts is really the only way to get noticed. UNFORTUNATELY. I would hope in this day and age that as much profit is made on games, that companies would use software to sift thru and find customer complaints and personally respond to them. Check out this eye opening article. It deals with hiring a person or tribe to deal with those who have concerns and ACTUALLY ADDRESS THOSE CONCERNS. http://www.saastr.com/dont-fire-your-worst-customers-hire-them-a-psychiatrist-instead/ Which sources this article http://www.saastr.com/your-belated-saas-new-years-resolution-add-a-layer/

I'll have to check out the articles later. I realize that it does matter to some people, which is fine. It's just the constant whining that makes me irritated. Especially since the changes haven't even been implemented yet! Who knows maybe everything will work great and we will see more variety in pvp for gun use. Or maybe it will fail miserably.
-
Are you kidding me??!! i should have the right to complain and they should make a change, if they want more money and want people to play their game they should listen.
-
Didnt their slogan say "Play the Way you wanted"
-
Idk if it was. I'm not going to argue with this further because you guys aren't understanding what I'm saying. I'm sure you all have jobs? So when someone comes to you nicely and says hey I'm not happy with this, and you want to help them right? When someone comes to you with a nasty tone and demands this and that, how do you feel as an employee? Do you personally really want to help them? This complaining is not only toxic for the community, but for the developers themselves. There are so many different factors that come into making a game and it makes me almost sick that so many people in this community come at this with such a distasteful and entitled approach. If you are unsatisfied with the game, quit playing. it's why I stopped buying assassins creed games, because I was unsatisfied with decisions they made. It's that simple. I'm fine with working with the decisions they make. Yeah there's some stuff I'm unhappy with, like the fact I can't get anywhere in trials because I'm not that great, and I'd love to see more story because the graphics are amazing, but I live with it. Yeah we are different people and we deal with what we like differently but this complaining is way out if control and I need to work harder to actively avoid the toxicity of this. You guys have a great day.
