We the guardians, defenders of earths last stronghold and the wall against which the darkness crashes against, have come across a difficult time in our stories as legends. A time that will be forever know as the Crucible Chaos. We have seen in this reign of terror the true devastating effect of poor balancing and over use of weapons to the point where you can guess 90% correctly what the lobby has for it's primary weapon. This has to come to an end. We guardians love our weapons from scout rifles to hand cannons and everything in between. However when a weapon has become so used and has become so powerful that it laughs in the face of greatly balanced weapons, that is when we put our foot down. No longer shall we sit aside and watch as our guardians are melted by the poison of thorn while the user runs to find it's next victim. No longer shall we be face -blam!- by the hand cannon born from an auto rifle(TLW). These such weapons and other exotics that have been given powers beyond what true balance stands for. This plague is growing, like the darkness surrounding the solar system and it's inhabitants as we speak. This is a new foe, a new darkness, a new evil that will only grow worse until something is done. Until we act collectively we shall be faced a flood of these OP and overused exotics until the best next thing comes out. I had a dream, that titans and hunters once again could kill a warlock with their supers and not be killed by a single melee. I had a dream that scout rifles and snipers were unrivaled in their mid-long range combat and were not replaceable and bested by hand cannons. I had a dream!......, that my auto rifles could kill you before you killed me as long as I shot first. I could see a game filled with a variety of weapons and shotguns did not run as wild as hand cannons. However, this is a dream. A goal you may have it that I have wished to achieve. For what I believe is no guardian will be free to choose the weapon he and or she wants until the game is rebalanced in crucible. This will not be an easy task and their will be many troubling moments ahead of us. Yet I believe that with enough guardian power and determination that we will have a brighter future for our descendants come this September to enjoy a better world were they will have a chance at crucible without the need of a single widely used weapon. Thus I urge you guardian to do your part and help us banish the darkness from the walls of our crucible so that we may kill each other in peace. Thank you or your time and have a good one guardians!
