Is bungie doing nothing about the Pay to Win sites?

So many people should know by now of destinyelite.com and maybe even gunsofdestiny.com(?), sites where you pay someone else to complete activities for you. Not just with you, but actually for you. Destinyelite.com actually wants you to give them your PSN account information so they can literally do it for you. This is optional, but mostly at their decision. Is anything being done about this? Are they even violating anything in the ToS or anything else? No one seems to know if they are or not. Can bungie address this?

  • why would anyone do that? The only reason you would buy a game is to play it yourself not have some guy play it for you

  • pay them then run to the bank and ask for a chargeback bam You got what you wanted for free and those fags have to even pay extra because of the chargeback

    • They aren't doing anything wrong. Why would Bungie do something when nothing wrong is taking place?

    • Why should they do anything about it? Who are they hurting by completing activities for people? And if they lose their accounts because they gave out their account info to strangers online then, well, they had it coming.

"A Fool and his Money Soon Depart". If people are willing to pay to let others complete their activities for them, then they are fools. They are stupid for letting others have access to their account.

        • You do realise this isn't a first by any means right? People have been doing this in games for years and there is next to no way to stop it. Bungie has no right over a third party site so they can't shut it down. More so the only thing they can do is ban that account which most smart sellers never put there account info out there so there is no way to track them. I personally made a couple thousand dollars doing something similar in world of Warcraft a few years ago.

          • Well with sites like this that exist I don't really see the argument against player trading now.

          • The website owners will probably thank you for linking thousands of guardians who may not be aware that they can do this.... You've more than likely helped them to be raking in the cash this coming trials...

            • There's nothing to be done. Ps allows you to let over people complete tasks for you so it has nothing to do with Bungie. They can't block a service that's 1.) not provided by them 2.) a function of a console.

Why the Fvck do we keep getting these ?? I'd rather take green weapons for the parts! I have no desire or intent to run ToO, why is Bungi pushing everyone to this shitfest?? This is why people pay to get rewards, for some it seems to be the only way. I'm about done with this game... At some point it will go to gamestop as I have no desire to buy TTK.

            • It shows people will pay to circumvent things that stand in the way of their enjoyment of playing a game. Bungie created Haves and Have nots, the have nots will either stop playing or go to extremes to stay current with the rest. More often then not they move on, hence why my friends list was at an all time low the last night and didn't even bother doing one nightfall.

            • This blows my mind. I never thought that someone would pay for you to help them complete endgame activities. I'm not a PvP fan so I wouldn't touch trials, but they were charging like $200 for a skolas completion....BOOM, mind blown.

              • What are you expecting them to do about it? They don't own any of these websites. Sony and Microsoft both recommend never giving someone you don't personally know your account info. There is nothing Bungie can do about this. Hell without breaking a few laws they can't even find out where you are.

              • One would think a small statement would be coming out of the Bungie camp warning players not to utilize such services. It's a shame Bungie has conditioned players that they have to look outside the game to play the game. It helps create a niche for scams like this.

                • I'm sure Bungie secretly supports this. They love sending their customers outside the game to enjoy it.
