As I have said countless times already, none of the maps in any playlist except Combined Arms count as long range, most engagements are medium at best even if there is a sniper present. Thorn hits cross-map shots on small maps, try doing the same on Bastion/First Light/Skyshock and you will ultimately fail with it - at the range "sniper-like" actually is. For the record, I have played with Thorn. A lot. It was my first Exotic, and I used it when it was regarded as terrible, it still hit 2-shot kills, it still had Send It, but no one else used it. All of a sudden, it becomes OP and everyone has it. I stopped using it because of that.
