I agree, screw Trials

Trials of Osiris has infected this game with an abundance of Elitist douchebags who are failing to see the issue. Regular crucible is more fair and just in almost every way. For one, level advantage is basically saying lets put all skill and experience to the side and put gear/game time as the most important trait for a "competitive pvp experience".... Disabling level advantages puts everyone on the same playing field and allows for a range of play styles/weapon types ect. The fact that matchmaking is disabled also creates an almost impossible goal (Im talking this far in not from the beginning) for you and you're fireteam to flawless. The strong get stronger and weak stay home. Almost every trials post on LFG that I see requires the emblem and every post that doesnt is almost a guarenteed waste of time. It's like saying you need a key to open a door but the key is on the other side of the door... I think the gamemode needs an overhaul and for the people who've been lucky enough to go flawless to realise it themselves.

  • No Matchmaking in Trials is bad? The whole point of Trials of Osiris is that you are going in with a team to be pitted against them and see if you are worthy enough to get to The Lighthouse. The idea behind it is that this is gametype for PvP players. I think with The Taken King dropping you will definitely see more of a split in Gear that determines you as a PvP Player and what determines a PvE player.
