While I don't agree, there are some points. COD DLC is entirely optional, whereas you're missing out on tons of content (by Destiny standards) if you don't buy the next Destiny DLC. And we need to stop the stereotype that COD is a bad game series. At its core, COD is a fantastic, fast-paced, balanced PvP game.

Destiny is "story" driven game. There is no way around you missing out in content when they add dlc. Games like dc universe online and World of Warcraft does the same. You can have a debate whether or not if the dlc prices are fair but you can't expect to get more content for free. Theses are business and they need to make money. Maybe if cod ever makes a more story based/ rpg like game we can better compare it to games like destiny, the witcher or batman arkham knight in terms of dlc.

The witcher 3 has a $25 expansion pass that adds two new stories when combined is about the length of the base game. See if you want more story, you have to pay more. That free stuff they are giving out are little tiny things that don't add much to the game.

I just said the free dlc adds little to nothing to game. If you want more [b][u]story[/u][/b] which is more important to the witcher 3 you have to pay more money. And the Cod model of dlc is not really optional. If you don't buy the new maps you eventually get locked out of playing because you can't find people to play on the old maps or old Playlist.
