Dragon's Breath, the Weak Link

In the game's current state there are 2 exotic Solar launchers and a Void launcher. The problem is, Gjallarhorn is significantly better than Dragons breath, ultimately negating the need for DB to exist. (As stated in the above video from PlanetDestiny) Here are some suggestions (all of these are either/or scenarios, not meant to be taken cumulatively, rather, individually). -Make Gjallarhorn Arc Damage. -increase the duration of DB's solar flare, allowing for use to block off corridors -increase intensity of solar flare, lowering the flare's time to kill -make flare follow the enemy it's damaged most -make flare ignite enemies that fall into flare radius -increase DB standard magazine size to 3, change DB tripod to grenades and horseshoes, increase DB velocity, decrease truth velocity -increase DB blast radius, increase DB velocity, change DB heavy payload to flared magwell Sound off below, what does everybody think?

  • I like the idea of changing Jellyhorn arc. I also like the idea of the flare following you, sort of like that cheating axion b**ch grenade, but you actually have to earn it by using heavy. So the rocket wouldn't actually have a blast radius initially, but instead implodes and releases a solar flare that tracks you down, giving burn damage, but when the flare timer runs out, it releases its blast radius like how a star does when it runs out of energy. It could blind someone, but that might be too much.
