Please take no offense to what I am about to say, but there is no way the light house should be included for a first year banner. The elite players already have more than enough special gear and banners hat the rest of us may never be able to achieve. This emblem is for players that have played the "whole" game not just lived in the PvP arenas. The whining and crying for special items for said "elite" players before the HoW dropped was irritating. Really most players on destiny could give a crap who the "best" player is. I spent a long time building my characters and have played all areas of this game and find it rather obnoxious that the top 10% hunk they are the only ones who matter. Stop being such babies and get over yourselves, at best maybe it should have a participation in ToO with no win or lose stipulations.
