They're apparently raising the base levels to 30 so our light level will likely max at somewhere between 46 and 50.

46 might make sense. At the current rate, if they released 2 expansions after TTK, the max level would end up at 50, which would be a nice ending level. Speculating yey!

They said the level cap at the end of the first game would be 50. It would likely go up from there in the next installments if they continue the trend

Haha yeah that sounds about right. Although since they said this is supposed to be a huge expansion they might give us more than just the usual 2 additional light levels they've given with the last 2 DLCs. But as you said, speculation.
