Exotic Bounties
I am at vanguard rank 27, but i still havent gotten a single exotic bountie! Plz help.

is it true you only get an exotic bounty by leveling the factions crucible or vanguard by doing bounties?

A reliable method I have used is to complete 30 bounties within 3 days. This method is also documented in youtube videos from others. Some gamers have reported turning in fewer bounties during the same period. It's not RNG; it's the quantity within the period that matters. I just received another Vanguard Mentor Missive tonight. At one point I had 8 exotic bounties in progress across 3 characters. Currently, I have 4 of them.

The more you do a day, the better chance you have, that includes the eris bounties. The best time to try get exotic bounties is during the iron banner because those bounties count too

Try turning in as many bounties as you can at a time or in a short time frame. I get them all the time that way

Just got one from IB and I've only been playing for a month, but I leveled up my IB, crucible, cryptarch and vanguard all in the same tower visit soooo... Thank you for deeming me worthy RNGesus

The first one i got was when I turned in 10 bounties at once, so then I picked the thorn bounty. The second time I only turned in 2 bounties and picked the bad juju which I'm still working on. I guess it's just random.

Turn them in in big groups. That's when I always seem to get one, both crucible and vanguard.
