Why is the Intrusion Ghost Shell in the New Armoury?
The entry says you can obtain it via Special Orders. Now, how could this be? Is this a hint for what is to come? What do you guys think?

You would think there would be literally hundreds of shaders and Ghost Shells since they are just skins... Same coding, different color options. Really hope that they add a ton of new Shaders, Shells, Ships and Emblems down the road. [spoiler]It would also be sweet if there was just special vault/inventory slot where you could simply access all the shaders, shells, emblems, etc. that you had acquired since it doesn't really make sense that they take up so much space...[/spoiler]

1 Replyprobably already in the game. But Bungie will charge $10 for it and you'll have to have beaten skolas 20 times, have ghorn, opened 500 chests, danced 1,000 times, and gotten to rank 5 on iron banner every time

If you look on the counter of the Special Orders guy the shell is on the tabe as well as a bunch of dead normal shell ghosts. But the shell is not a dead ghost. It's alive. It's eye is blinking. Anyway I have a gut feeling it will be a year one thing

8 RepliesEdited by inphablue: 7/8/2015 4:08:26 PMSo, back in beta, there was the elusive Intrusion shell sitting on the ground in a part of the map you could not get to(now King's Watch). But, alas, being the broken game that Destiny is, people glitched out of the map and got into the forbidden area and got the Intrusion shell. And they paraded around and danced and celebrated, thinking, hey, look at this cool Ghost shell that you don't have and I do, isn't it cool? Little did they know, having the Intrusion shell "marked" you, and everyone who had it got banned. The end. Hence the name, [u][i]Intrusion[/i][/u]. Will it release with a new name as a microtransaction? Probably.

Via special orders meaning you can buy it through the special orders person at the tower. Of course if you never had that it you can't buy it from the person. Refering the character as person because i don't know the name.

6 RepliesIt may have something to do with the new “MOMENTS OF TRIUMPH” challenges that they have implemented for the Emblem. A day after the closing date for that they will announce that this is also going to be given. Hehe get on and work for that emblem Guardians :P

1 ReplyInteresting that its in the inventory yet still unattainable. What's more interesting is they removed all the other ghost shells. At launch there were several legendary shells that were data mined.

If anyone has it or has any idea how to get it, they should share! Edit: It seems that Fate of All Fools and the Intrusion Shell are technically in the game because FoAF was gifted to a special player and Intrusion was obtained illegally by modders/glitchers. However, neither are currently available to the general Destiny population.

My guess, those shells will finally be unlocked and the intrusion shell will be for year one players.
