Geomancy and Joyeuse connection

From the Joyeuse Formula Thread we know that Destiny's central character should resemble Charlemagne's in some way. From the other geomancy thread we have a very strong connection to the seven layers of heaven myth The Seven Layers of heaven myth was most notably used in Paradisio the third installment to Dante's the Divine comedy. Each of the layers Dante travels through aligns with the order of the geomancy symbols In the 5th layer Dante meets Cacciaguida, who warns of a future exile. and other religious warriors including Charlamagne) This fifth layer is Mars: home to the warriors of the faith. I think our research needs to focus on the Paradisio

 • I think the Divine Comedy was covered in ODST`s story. Was Dante not part of The Crusades? From the little we've seen I feel theres more parrallels to the Crusades than the 7 circles of hell (again, covered in ODST) - the one city that every one is trying to get (possible reference to Jerusalem) and the knights (possible reference to the knights templers) protecting it. They certainly seem to all be related in some way anyway. Pretty cool how Joyeuse popped up too, which I said might happen in the geomancy thread - TOOT!
