The Revolution: Pledge of Skotos

Episode 1 It was a day like any other, we finished our bounties for the day, and our fireteam leader Noble was trying to get us to raid a Fallen Ketch. "I'm telling you we could do it." the Hunter said trying to influence us to help him. "Explain to me where you would get the Fallen Walkers?" Said our Warlock Cat pointing out every flaw in his plan. As they bickered, I noticed guardians running into the courtyard area and saw Lord Saladin walking towards us with haste. "All guardians are to report to the courtyard immediately" he said walking past us and into the maintenance room. We looked at each other and started walking to the court yard. We saw the speaker who was beginning to talk about something, "Guardians, we have received word of a faction that bears the name Pledge of Skotos, their intent is to have the darkness rule and to drain the traveler at all costs." He says and continues as guardians look around to one another. After the speaker finished the vanguards and Crucible handlers began putting guardians in teams of 6. They were sending spies, trackers, and hit squads. I saw the Warlock Vanguard walking towards us with 3 other guardians and looked towards her. A Warlock, Titan, and Hunter. "These three are now apart of your team, you six are to go to this outpost and kill their general, he is a skilled sunsinger and owns one of the legendary Gjallahorn rockets launchers, a high threat." She says handing a paper with the location to Noble. As she left Noble and the other Hunter began arguing about who would lead the strike and their warlock sighed and slapped the Hunters across the head. "Will you two egotistical idiots quit your fighting so we can do this?" He says turning to Cat and I as their Titan laughs at the Hunters pain. "I'm Kieran, the Titan laughing is Toshiro and our Fearless leader over there is Jellal." The Warlock says as we begin to walk to the hanger. "Nice to meet you, I'm Crimson, the Warlocks Cat and Jellals new buddy here is Noble" I say introducing ourselves to our new found fireteam members. *** We had arrived at the location of the outpost that the Vanguard had told us about and were perched on a rock across from the building. "I have a plan on how we should do this" Jellal says as we turn back to him. "Kieran will stay here and use his sniper rifle to take out stragglers and watch our backs when coming in and out of the building, I want the two Titans to be in front with Cat close behind so that when needed you can use your fist of havoc and nova bombs, but only if needed, Noble and I will give cover fire with our hand cannons and take out the Warlock we came to kill." Jellal says looking at all of us, I could tell he was a good leader, Noble was one too but his judgment was just a bit clouded by his curiosity. I thought about what Jellal said and realized he had already ran off, i wasn't a striker titan, I was a defender. I paid no mind to it and continued on. We began walking towards the building and saw two Titans guarding the entrance with shotguns "Hey! Do you hav-" one began as Kieran sniped his head clean off. The other began to raise his gun but immediately was shot down by Toshiros auto rifle. Arc bullets pierced his armor and killed the Titan instantly. Toshiro then grabbed their ghosts and crushed them with his hands as we continued on into the building. Jellal and Noble ran in front shooting rounds of their handcannons into guardians all over and hid behind cover as Toshiro and I ran through killing enemies with our auto rifles. I shot the void fire at multiple guardians killing them and shooting their ghosts soon after. Cat sat far back shooting her scout rifle killing oncoming bladedancers with head shots. Then all fire stopped and the guardians his behind cover as a Warlock arose from the steps down into a chamber of sorts. He applauded us, "Well done, Well done indeed, you guardians did a number on our troops." He said kicking bodies aside pulling out a rocket launcher that must have been the Gjallarhorn. He aimed it at us aimed it a us and from what I know on it that one rocket has the ability to kill all five of us. I look around and see that Noble had been missing and saw him behind the warlock with his hand cannon to his side. "Nice rocket you got there" he said shooting the six shots of his Last Word into the Warlocks back killing him. The other guardians began to fire at him and he quickly reloaded his gun and shot down most of them before jumping out to us to avoid fire. I gave him cover fire and shot my auto rifle at Anyone that moved and killed the ghosts that attempted to revive them. Toshiro, Cat, and Jellal did all the same and we began running to the exit. Before we had gotten to the door we saw the warlock walk in front and block the door from the outside aiming his Gjallarhorn at us. We forgot that he was a sunsinger, he must have self resurrected. He shot a rocket at us but before it could hit I put up my Ward of Dawn protecting us from the blast of the rocket launcher. He then quickly began reloading his rocket but was sniped in the head before he could finish. "How can we be sure he's dead this time" Cat asked aiming her scout rifle at his body. I grabbed his ghost and crushed it against a wall, "His ghosts dead now and his heads gone, so there's no way back for him" I say walking over and picking up his Gjallarhorn. He wouldn't be needing it anymore, and he definitely didn't deserve it. Some of their troops escaped but they will tell the others and this faction will know what's good for them if they stay away. *** We had returned to the tower to inform on our success and the Vanguard had us patrol the city to look for any guardian that bore the mark of Skotos. Noble and I took the east city and walked down towards a park. We sat on a bench looking at the civilians pass by waiting to see if one of them would be here. "I have a bad feeling about this war we're getting into" he said looking around at the passers by. "How come?" I ask him looking around at some kids that passed buy laughing about something. "Because I saw Fallen house banners in that outpost that seemed unknown, and they were accompanied by a Fallen communication device" he said looking up at me. If what he said is right, then we have a big problem on our hands. With the Fallen by their side, they may be unstoppable. **** Look out for episode 2, this took AWHILE to make but it was fun and I hope people enjoy :D
