Arc bolt doesn't one hit kill

  • Almost every grenade can instant kill you. Ram is the only thing that will save you from a trip mine. Personally the void walker needs a good grenade or the axion bolt needs to go faster. I've seen people stroll away from the damn things it's so dumb. Their super is basically a massive grenade yet all their grenades suck... how is that possible?

  • It does with weakened players that are recovering. Or if two are thrown and chained on to you it's over. #NoSkill

  • Weakened players aren't one-shot, they aren't at full health. I can easily aim my Hawkmoon or a Thorn and kill you from more health with one bullet. As for your other thoughtless comments: Firebolt doesn't chain off enemies. It "shoots" out from a central point, where Arcbolt chains from one enemy to the other. The only big threat is when you're scrunched up like idiots. I don't think I've seen a Voidfang in Crucible in months; the recharge isn't worth the exotic slot if you aren't running Voidwalker for the nade bonus as well. Instead it'd be smarter to run with Praxic Fire and just max out your discipline with intellect as second priority. Two arcbolts being thrown isn't any less of a skilled kill than whatever you flail around with; its two separate people throwing their grenades in a coordinated fashion to kill you. If a warlock can get two Firebolts off that easily, you're only dying because you're not skilled enough to kill him or escape in the amount of time that takes. The new Warlock grenade calls down a lightning bolt from the sky in a relatively centralized area. If you watched gameplay of the Crucible multiplayer at E3 you should know that it also doesn't appear to be a one-shot; it's probably around as strong as the bolts. If you choose a specific perk of the subclass, lightning will arc to enemies near those hit by all of your grenades(including the Lightning spike, this should be your real concern). I haven't seen a single analysis where that perk was recommended as part of your build; the other two perks in that slot are just better than it, and we have no idea how this works. It could be a DoT effect like a vortex grenade centered on them or it could be an Arcbolt shot, but either way there's nothing to prove that it will do full grenade damage. Stop getting your panties in a wad over something that we don't even have details about. We done here?
