Nobody does the bubble strategy anymore when facing Qodron?
I am dumbfounded, I tried to do the 34 POE with three separate groups and none of my teammates put up bubbles and fire gallys at Qodron. They always go back to the far right of the map, and we just end up getting killed. Is the bubble strategy considered taboo or something?

I just did this on level 32 with a couple of 34s, who could not and would not do it legit. Sat in the airlock waiting for synth and supers to restock, just to go out and fail again. Wasted about 30 minutes before I dropped out to find some guys who could do it legit.

Some of us actually like a boss fight.

We've all learned the mechanics of this encounter and where the "Eye" is located. Everyone's packing a shotgun just in case.

7 RepliesNo. Most people did that when it was solar burn on him. Making it super simple. But after like the first week or something they needed the whole encounter. Less health, jail breaker perk is more effective etc etc. it's a super simple fight. No need to Gally cheese it.

2 RepliesNo I beat it with randoms not even on mic. Totally legit. Just kill the eye and break everyone out. Shoot boss. Rinse and repeat. Bubble ghorn strat is the cheap way out.

4 RepliesRun in, go far left, kill ads, shoot eye, get out of bubble, shoot boss, repeat. It's that easy. No need to waste time for synths anymore. The fight is challenging and also very fun when you do it properly.

I fought him for the first time yesterday. Didn't have any titans with us but we got him the first try. We went to the back left of the map. It was also me and my two friends though.

1 ReplyBubble is good for giving everyone Weapons of Light, reviving someone who was caught in the open, and blocking fire from hobgoblins from the side, but it's suicide if you're inside of it when the detainment shields come up, so it's not really important. Besides the left side strategy seems to work better than right for some people.
