That's not a good way to tell apart day 1 vs new. I dismantled literally every vanilla thing because of the vault space. I do still have a couple faction class items and a vanquisher viii without a dlc symbol on the top though. The ONLY true way to tell is if someone has the beta and week 1 emblems.

I'm not talking about just vanilla gear, but any of the 2 dlc in year 1 that is no longer available in year 2. Like remember the titan gear with the fur shoulders?

Then that is your way of showing that you are a Year 1 player. I have the fur chest piece, regret not getting the gauntlets.
