Although this is an old, already discussed problem, I believe that we can still change. I feel that the majority of players that play Destiny are under the appropriate age for shooters. I think this age should be 18 and over. I'll give you a few reasons.
1)It causes traumatic situations. I for one do not want my child flinching and screaming away every time they see somebody holding a sword.
2) It causes anti-social instincts to grow. When you think about it, the average session a child will play in Destiny is three to four hours. That's three to four hours where the only communication the are getting is with people they have met over the Internet. I don't want children growing older and being scared of every person they see.
3) It teaches them bad words. Every lobby I go into, there is always that person (usually a child) screaming curse words for no good reason. Where did they find out these words? From older players. If there was a minimum age, you would not have this problem. Children are getting angrier because of this game.
4) My final reason is that it causes violence. No 10 year old should be able to make another creatures head explode, or shoot other players virtually. What happens when that transfers to the real world? That anger and frustration would lead to much property being desecrated including
Mailbox Baseball
Laser Tag
TPing Houses
Egging Cars
Multiple holes in the wall from being punched.
ANY PERSON who do not follow these rules should be arrested with a minimum 2 year sentence.
Thank you all for the support you give me. I believe that a change to only 18 year olds and over would make the worlds youth safer and more intelligent than currently.

Im 15 and i did all this b4 i played destiny
#Psycho
Blame society, not video games
-
every one of those problems are a direct result of how parents raise their children. how often does anyone see someone holding a sword irl?
-
A lawyer game doesn't make you a lawyer A military game doesn't make you a veteran A driving game doesn't make you a good driver So why does a shooter make you violent?
-
So what you're saying is if they play farming simulator they want to be farmers if they play cooking mama they want to be cooks

I'm a teenager. I apologise for playing this "teen" rated game. You are probably an over protective mother. Have a nice day :)

I for one do not want my child flinching and screaming away every time, but is our choice, they see somebody holding a cool sword with cool shades and that makes one cool. 2) It causes social instincts to grow. When you think about it, the average session a child will play in Destiny is three to four hours. That's three to four hours where the only communication the are getting is how fun the game is. 3) It teaches them bad words so is the parent's fault. Awwww Op forgot the satire tag. I just wanna logic bomb ya. One thing before we get started I am 13 and playing under age, Sue me :P. Anyone who actually has any of those effects listed, then they themselves are mentally handicapped or are just plain stupid. The ratings on the video games are just guide lines not restrictions there for any age of person could be playing something like GTA. Any parent who lets anyone under 17 play more mature games like GTA then that's the parents fault for being a careless parent. I myself am not aloud to play GTA or any games that are around that area of mature. Now back to the point, any kid who takes what happens in Destiny as anger issues and needs to see someone about that, but the majority of people have a balanced mental state. What the -blam!- is with the laser tag? How is that desecration of property? Oh look you're laser is on my lawn, "you just desecrated my property with that laser." Then a 2 year minimum sentence in prison for playing Video Games? Thats a contradicting statement to what you have been saying. By giving children, who you think will be more intelligent and stable by passing this law, will actually have wasted two years of their lives in prison and have seen a lot worse things then what you would in video games. Now Least, but definitely not last, this would be infringing on our human rights, specifically the one about freedom of speech. Technically a video game can be counted as a work of fiction. As long as this work of fiction is made public, then any human has a right to use it as long as they have done what they needed to do to get it.

Drugs 5.) life hardship 6.) bad news Flashes 7.) crude language 8.) Future life problems 9.) the love of a man or women.
