Grinding out for hours on patrol trying to get at least 100 spirit bloom or helium filaments in order to upgrade your fatebringer to 300 or other weapons. Pretty much chessing any part of VoG like pushing atheon off the edge before the patches. When playing on rusted lands and there where no hive ships or eerie noises. Only able to spend your motes of lights on buying stuff from the speaker. Getting your crypt arch rank up to like 50 from the loot cave. (Sadly I never knew about the loot cave until they patched it.) Farming public events and not getting anything in return from them and just doing them because you were bored with grinding out the various upgrade materials. Being mad that you couldn't perform tricks on your sparrow until they introduced the tumbler. When you could only get heavy ammo from the gunsmith. Thinking there where no elemental weapons for primaries until you received the vision, timepiece or the fatebringer. When killing the gatekeeper and going through the big doors instead of going off to the side and going that way to fall on the only exotic chest. Which brings me to my next point, discovering that the chest on the right side in the gorgon maze is not an exotic chest and only gives you ascendant materials. No timers for any crucible ammo and getting special ammo every like 15 seconds it seems. Getting the aurora Lance and thinking you were unique. Seeing people in all white and wondering how they got that and finally realizing when you completed VoG hard and getting your first chatter white and thinking you could be cool know too. I'll give it a go. Well I play on PS4 and I love the idea of paying it forward. On the weekends, when I'm not busy with real life stuff, I help people out in ToO to help them get to those 5 or 7 wins or sometimes even flawless. Helping people out has always been a thing for me and I never look to receive anything from it but the happiness and joy that I get from making others happy. I recently became a bit bored with Destiny so I just always look forward to the weekends now so I can hop on and try to help others out because, for me, that's the best part.
