Truth be told I love battle runner, It's a ton of fun to move around like speedy gonzalez for a few seconds in PvE, but it needs a buff. My main issue with this perk is having to let the timer run out after killing 1 greg before killing another greg in order to keep the buff. As such I've taken the liberty of coming up with a few ways to improve this perk to make it much more viable in endgame PvE content. A. Increase the time for BR from 5 seconds to 9 seconds and getting a kill within the timeframe of BR refreshes the timer to 9 seconds, same as how gungslinger's trance and chain of woe work. (PICK THIS ONE BUNGIE) B. Killing more gregs while battle runner is active will add more time to BR. (OR THIS ONE) Ex: when you kill a greg while your battle runner is at 2 seconds, instead of counting down to zero, the timer goes from 2 seconds to 7 seconds. Now for the real reason I want this perk buffed: Prison of Elders. RANDOM SCENARIO Just imagine it, the timer for the last mine appeared and it's across the fallen map, there are tons of tier 1 adds in the path and you're the last guardian alive. Normally as a Titan you'd waddle over there, but wait!!!! YOU HAS BATTLE RUNNER ON YO HAND CANNON!!! Knowing that battle runner time gets stacked per kill, you get 4 headshots and you're sitting pretty at 20 seconds of bonus agility. With this boost you zip across the fallen map faster than a tortoise racing a hare, and the mine gets defused with 1 second left!!!! The titan starts dancing just as the lightswitch powered captain jumps up in the titan's face while growling "SIT YO BUTT DOWN!!!!" Skolas has 10% left, and the hangry guardians now return to the airlock to try again. While the story was unnecessary, my point still stands that battle runner is an underrated perk that has the potential to become so much better.
