When you go buy a car, do you think the salesman/saleswoman genuinely cares how good the car runs? No, they just want your money and to get the car off the lot. That's how business works. You put a smile on and get the customers money.

So what happens if there's another car salesman down the road that actually cares about his customers to a certain degree? I will tell you. The one that cares will sell more because ppl will trust his product. Sure he might have to bite a loss on the car that's in bad condition, but he will make more money in the long run from a good reputation. Meanwhile, the greedy salesman is stuck with cars that no one will buy. [spoiler]Moral of the story, the customer is the salesman's income.
