July 7th destiny players are asked to boycott destiny. We shouldnt have to pay for the maps we already have just to get emotes, shaders, and shit like that. And that luke dude is a douche!

U don't need to buy it my god just the 40 dollar one
-
But I want the new shit and thats not even the point. Theyre trying to rip off people.
-
If u want the new stuff then u gotta pay for it....it's simple...r hey are not ripping anyone off. U guys r in mindset tht u need everything destiny gives so tht means for u to get it u need it to be cheap. But thts not how it works. There r many players like me who are day 1 tht don't see the need to cry about the new stuff we r nothing getting cuz we see that all the other stuff is not needed
-
I am a day ine player and bought the pass. Why repay for shit that I already have just for some emotes and shaders? I cant justify spending 80 buck on that. Its BS and people who have the pass have a right to be pissy about it. Did you read yhe luke smith article? He pretty much just calls us his money cows and that we are suckers.
-
If you really don't care about the emotes and the class item then pay the 40 dollars. It's really not that much money, unless you are in a economic crisis in which case you really shouldn't complain about the prices as it would unwise to buy it to start. Deej (I think) stated that there would be more for year one players at the launch of TTK; that should be more than enough for now. Unless they reveal it and it is shit, then we can complain.
-
I can afford the $40 or $80 but it's not the point :(.

Edited by Unforgiven: 6/23/2015 11:15:01 PMEvery hardcore destiny fan should get all the content. We have already spent close to $100 or more. Yea we deserve all the exclusives.
-
You dont have to, $40 gets you TTK. Why boycott for a day, why not a month? You can't. But Timmy has a shader and I want it, pathetic.
-
Because all the die hard destiny players are mad they some scrub that just got the game is getting exclusive shit that we arnt.
-
exactly, its bullshit. Making the die hards pay extra than the scrubs. Their system is -blam!-ed up.
-
Yep absolute bs
-
Look at my hours, I'm about as diehard as they get. I'm buying the $40 version and will not give a thought about trinkets that somebody else has.
-
I want the new shit. What is stupid about it is that I essentially have to rebuy shit I already have in order to get the new shit. Have you read luke smiths interview? What is pathetic sir, is expecting fans to pay double for shit they have just to get a few exclusives.
-
You dont need those exclusives, you want those exclusives. There's a difference. You just want what the other person has and it drives you crazy that somebody else will have it.
-
Umm yeah lol and that i shouldnt have to spend another 80 bucks for the expansions I already have. Its completely unreasonable lol
-
Edited by UnspokenNumber0: 6/23/2015 10:50:03 PM$40 gets you TTK. You are complaining about digital cosmetic items. The only thing making you spend $80 is your compulsive need to have what others have.
-
I replied to you already stating that. I'm a day one player and I love the game. Why does a scrub get the new shit and essentially pay less for it? Also, have you read Luke Smiths interview? the guy is pompous jackass.
-
Day one player here as well. This is business, Bungie is not your friend. You buy a coat in the winter, some kid buys the same coat a few months later at half price. Luke has been arrogant since Halo, check out his earlier interviews. Its also a written interview that can be taken out of context. Good luck with your boycott, I'm sure Bungie will hardly notice, especially since most of you will be on the next day. I'm pretty sure most of you will be on during the "boycott" anyway, it's Bungie day and I know you can't miss out on whatever they have planned.
-
you are probably right but I'm still not going to play that day lol. I'll go play the new maps on COD that come out I think on the same day.
