It is guaranteed that people are going to get angry. The real question we should be asking is, what are their parents doing about it? If these kids were raised properly they would not be doing things like this.
You say that video games are the problem, what about the movies, what about Game of Thrones? No one is talking about those because they love watching them. But if parents are not teaching their children right, these thing are always going to happen.

As a parent I can tell you that you couldn't be more wrong and misguided. Knowing what my kids are doing, approving things and having an opportunity to discuss them is parenting. Banning things and having it done behind my back is not parenting. It's like drinking. I'd rather know my kids tried a beer so I can explain and demonstrate what responsible drinking is, than have them "go over to a friends house" and getting slammed and doing something stupid.
-
Then your saying you have no control or trust in your children whatsoever.
-
I'm saying that kids are kids and if they want to do something, they will. And a useless rating that holds no weight is not going to dictate what I, knowing them better than anyone else, is mature enough to partake in. I used to watch PG movies that had boobs and swearing. That'd be R today. Let's not blow shit out of proportion here... Ratings are useless.

They cannot purchase these games without parents, that proves my point. That one fact I just said.
-
...Yes they can... ESRB is an unenforceable rule. The most a company can legally do is put games on higher shelves so they can't be reached.
-
Ever tried to by a game rated M when you were younger, I did. It didn't turn out well when my parents found out.
-
Yeah. Mortal Kombat came out when I was about 10. I owned it. A B A C A B B. Blood code memorized forever. It was a grounding well worth it. But I bought it with my own money, so I got to keep it.

Have fun crying, Mr. Paranoia
-
I'm not sure what this means or how it fits into anything we've discussed?

If a parent let's their kid watch game of thrones I hope they get tossed in jail ... That show has nudity its not meant for kids at all
-
Oh no! Nudity, the worst of thing in the word ever. Oh, wait. It isn't. It doesn't even register.
-
i never said anything was the worst in the world ... its highly inappropriate and the show is not rated for kids. from my own views id want that person jailed, 13 and bellow should not be watching that

If I were you I wouldn't be talking. You let your son die by the hands of guardians and you're barely taking action? Lol
