I'll gladly pay $40 if the content is worth the amount of cash... Granted, I DO think it's a bit steep, all things considered.
But the community isn't upset about that; it's upset with the special treatment and digital rewards only being offered to newcomers with the collector's edition.
If Bungie will just make the same stuff available to us veterans without trying to milk us for cash, then I think everyone will feel satisfied.
What Bungie has suggested we do thus far is completely immoral and unethical by every definition.

I'm glad you posted this! People who have a problem with this situation aren't all Rage Queens that they are made out to be by the haters. You and others in this thread are proving that. Thanks!

No problem at all, m'man! And I appreciate you sharing that with me. I'm also appreciative that there are plenty of players out there conveying their concerns without being completely enraged and irrational... Not to say that there aren't plenty of players unjustly calling for Luke Smith's head(or his job), though... lol He was an ass, but he doesn't deserve punishment as cruel as taking away his livlihood. Regardless, the haters seem drastically outnumbered and have a hell of a time making any sensical arguments.

Edited by Mike Lawrence: 6/23/2015 7:49:49 PMYeah thank God the haters are out numbered this time. I fully agree Luke Smith should not lose his job over this. That's going a bit too far. He has made a complete ass out of himself and I'm not sure we should let him forget it.

Indeed! For some reason, I'm feeling very confident that this overwhelming feedback on the subject just might be able to hold Bungie accountable... And if it doesn't? I don't believe I'll be playing Destiny again... That would break my heart, because I love this game... But I don't love it so much that I'm going to allow them to manipulate me.
