If anything, a video game can be considered the most effective sort propaganda we have since it requires interaction and the promise of reward. Destiny may not have blood, but it is violent. Targeted for teen audiences, it is meant to be played by that age group or older, not children whose minds are still malleable. And yet ever since the introduction of the in-game chat, the servers have been plagued with shrills so hostile they make my ears bleed. Youths who are only 10 years of age claim to have slept with my mother and sister. I've heard profanity I did not even know existed as well as sex acts I never even dreamed of. One child became so hostile because I didn't let him get a certain kill, that he threw his controller across the room and screamed. If somebody had been sitting next to him, they could have been hurt. He then proceeded to make a threat to me, saying that he will track me down and kill me. Now I am not paranoid enough to sit on my porch with my 12 gauge waiting for my 8 year old assassin to claim my life. But, this is a serious issue because these kids are being exposed to material they are ill prepared for. That is why I will make it my goal to report any pre-teen players I can find. They do not belong on Destiny, they don't belong in any teen rated games. they should stick to Knack and Mario until they have passed into their teenage years.
