Maybe if you nekbeards layed off your deritos snd mountain dew for a week you could afford it too[/quote] As much as I liked destiny and being a bungie fan since I was 7, I don't think I will get The Taken King right away since I want to save up for Black Ops 3 and Battlefront 3.
-
Battlefront 3, hell yes.
-
"Wow you guys don't want to buy overpriced, half assed, trash that should have been free in the first place? You must be poor!" -blam!- off, retard.
-
How about they just fix the pricing scheme. Its not that I can't afford it, it's that I dont want to encourage this kind of behaviour and donate to a multi-billion dollar company that has no respect for its fans.
-
The dlc just got announced. No one knows what exactly is in it except for new sub classes. Until full details are released they could have 40$ worth pf content on there.
-
Edited by AYRES: 6/23/2015 1:04:53 PMYa that's true, but do you do not find it strange that they would release the expansion for pre-order but don't want to disclose any information about the content in the dlc aside from the raid and subclasses. Luke Smith actually said in the eurogamer interview that Bungie won't say how much content is in the dlc yet. So you have to understand people's confusion about the way this dlc is being managed.
-
It's a good point! We really don't know what is in the DLC. It could be more than the original game. It could be a lot less.
-
Would love if you could explain this to the rest... Ppl are so damn negative its becomming sad
-
Ohh whaaaaaat?so is blam! ok that they cut the half of original game and make it "dlcs"?(HoW,TDB)for 40$?,and now 40$ for blam! Dlc that they will cut again and sell it after 2 month us a NEW DLC?and is not about the blam! Money is about the blam!attitude of bungie to the ppl funs gamers.they say that they read the forum ok then what about the post for the AR?is 3 month up.about the post for lag and servers issue?or weapon balance in pvp?or the blam! CPs in PoE?or MM for all modes. Is unacceptable.
-
I can't really understand what you wrote but I'm guessing you are a "no"?
-
You are "new" here man nvm
-
Get a job?
-
I feel like you and Luke would make great friends.
-
Quit being ignorant and putting yourself on a pedestal. Stop assuming people are jobless bums because they aren't going to blindly throw money at something. I could buy a thousand ttks. Will I buy 1? Depends on bungie. It's that simple. You have a job? You can save money? Wow! Good for you. You have entered adulthood.
-
Get a drain?
-
I'll gladly pay $40 if the content is worth the amount of cash... Granted, I DO think it's a bit steep, all things considered. But the community isn't upset about that; it's upset with the special treatment and digital rewards only being offered to newcomers with the collector's edition. If Bungie will just make the same stuff available to us veterans without trying to milk us for cash, then I think everyone will feel satisfied. What Bungie has suggested we do thus far is completely immoral and unethical by every definition.
-
I'm glad you posted this! People who have a problem with this situation aren't all Rage Queens that they are made out to be by the haters. You and others in this thread are proving that. Thanks!
-
No problem at all, m'man! And I appreciate you sharing that with me. I'm also appreciative that there are plenty of players out there conveying their concerns without being completely enraged and irrational... Not to say that there aren't plenty of players unjustly calling for Luke Smith's head(or his job), though... lol He was an ass, but he doesn't deserve punishment as cruel as taking away his livlihood. Regardless, the haters seem drastically outnumbered and have a hell of a time making any sensical arguments.
-
Edited by Mike Lawrence: 6/23/2015 7:49:49 PMYeah thank God the haters are out numbered this time. I fully agree Luke Smith should not lose his job over this. That's going a bit too far. He has made a complete ass out of himself and I'm not sure we should let him forget it.
-
Indeed! For some reason, I'm feeling very confident that this overwhelming feedback on the subject just might be able to hold Bungie accountable... And if it doesn't? I don't believe I'll be playing Destiny again... That would break my heart, because I love this game... But I don't love it so much that I'm going to allow them to manipulate me.
-
It's not about having the money to spend, but rather the question of "Am I willing to give my money to a company that openly disrespects its customers?" For some the answer is yes, for many others the answer is no. Why reward disrespect and dishonest business practices when there are so many better companies that will actually EARN your dollar?

BUMP!!!!!!!!!

I think that is the issue for a lot of people!
