My son is 11 it is up to me if he plays. I think Destiny is a good option to COD or other games. I monitor his playing time and his attitude while playing. He does not have a tv in his room, he is in the living room where he can be watched. It is more of a lack of parental supervision than age appropriate game. By the way I was told I would be a satanist because I listened to Iron Maiden in the 80s.
