Just some ideas for a few Exotic Weapon buffs/tweaks

So I'm only going to go over a few that I think have been forgotten but have potential to shine. 1. Patience and Time: So this gun is the more PvP focused counterpart to the Icebreaker. However the gun comes stock with a ridiculously High Zoom by default. This can obviously be remedied with the custom optics perk, but should we have to be pigeonholed giving up field scout or fitted stock? I think P&T should come with the popular 4.5x PvP zoom that is on the Ambush and Shortgaze by default. Thus freeing up the option for field scout or fitted stock. This would mean that custom optics would need to be swapped out for a different perk. The obvious PvP choice would be Snapshot making those quick shots easier. This would make P&T a very potent PvP sniper and would make people consider using it for sniping over using a exotic primary. 2. Dragon's Breath: I have made another thread on Dragon's Breath which asked for a lot to be changed... but I don't think what I asked for would be possible on the games engine. So instead the only changes I would like to see in the addition of some degree of 'damage over time' (DOT) and making the Solar Flare bigger. Adding DOT and increasing the surface area covered by the Dragon's Breath would help boost the zoning capabilities and the sustained damage output. Would that make it outclass Gjallerhorn for PvE or Truth in PvP? Probably not, but it would make it a little bit better. 3. Hardlight: Even with the extensive buffs and tweaks this gun has received the core issue remains. That issue being the violent shake the gun has when it is fired. Reducing the amount of weapon or screen shake would really help out this gun and is what throws a lot of players off using it (Besides Auto-Rifles being nerfed). Also give it Arc Damage there is no negative drawback by giving it Arc and the gun shoots 'arc looking' bullets so why not. 4. No Land Beyond: The gun itself is fine, there are ways to work around the ROF if you practice with it. The biggest issue currently is the lackluster 1st and 3rd perk. Mulligan is just currently a bad perk all around the rate at which it triggers is awful. Then there is The Master perk, which for all intensive purposes does nothing. With the addition of new perks from HOW it would be nice to see these perks replaced with better ones. Replacing Mulligan with Hidden Hand would boost the PvP capabilities. Then tweaking the Master perk by giving it a combination of Third Eye and Icarus, would be neat I think. This would suit the term Master as your more adept to your surroundings and can pull off harder jump-shots. 4.5. Icebreaker: This is not a necessary change but since Mulligan is such a worthless perk and with the addition of Army of One. Replacing Mulligan with Army of One would add to the Icebreakers regeneration of ammo theme by adding the regeneration of abilities as well. Which I think would be a nice addition in PvE. 5. Universal Remote/Invective: UR is one of those guns I would like to see shine a bit more, however with the current Thorn(Handcannon)/Shotgun game Meta I think that buffing the UR would only add to the problem. With shotpackage being a necessity on having a competitive shotgun the UR and Invective have fallen to the wayside. Not to mention other Shotgun's having a much better range. 6. Thorn and The Last Word (Handcannons): So The Last Word has a bug currently that will apply the Hipfire bonus while aiming down sights (ADS), addressing this would help with the insta-kill scenarios. Now Thorn is one of those guns that is seriously effecting the game at the moment it just does way to much well. It is in the fastest ROF of Handcannons, has impressive range and accuracy due to Sent It and has the DOT damage which seriously effects health recovery and turns it into a guaranteed two shot with headshots (which is not as hard as Thorn purists make it out to be). In the recent E3 2015 demo the handcannons had more 'kick' to them which I think would be a nice addition to bring them more into line as a closer-mid range gun that CAN be used at a range but requires more pacing with your shot. The current Meta just makes Handcannons superior to the Scout Rifles on all but the biggest of maps. However if Bungie is not going to apply that 'Kick' to Handcannons in general I think the a nerf in Thorn's ROF would be a fair nerf to the gun. Hopefully you like these changes the aren't gamebreaking or unbalanced and would bring a bit of life back into some guns that had really good potential. Keep battling the Darkness where ever it lurks Guardians!
