If it happens once it's not bullying. It's like someone punching you once and then saying you're being bullied when you're really not

Now imagine someone punching you for absolutely no reason and then calling you names. That's essentially what happened to this kid.

What? So you're walking in the hall and someone knocks down all your books and calls you a nerd. You were just BULLIED a BULLY. Just because it happened once doesn't mean it's not bullying.

No, wrong. If that by happens on mutiple times and still goes on the same guy(s) then yes, you're being bullied, but if it happened once you just happaned to encounter an arsehole

Bullying is when a person uses force or intimidation, to either get their way, or make another person feel bad. It's about power, and using that power in a negative way. In that sense what happened to this kid may not be bullying in the strictest sense. But that would be an irrelevant point to make. It would be common to refer to some older person cheating a younger kid out of something as bullying. Mainly because the older age of the aggressor gives them a position of more power. Excuse me for over explaining. I just really hope you can understand that bullying is about the action, it doesn't need to happen frequently from the same person.
