The recent 1.2.0.3 hotfix remedied an issue posed by the swarm grenade for the hunter. The exploit made it possible to gain near instant super from one grenade. I'm glad bungie responded quickly and stomped out this exploit for players who felt the need to resort to it, however it created another problem which I don't think many people may be aware of.
The problem wasn't that grenade kills were giving too much super energy. The issue pertained specifically to the hunters swarm grenades and a certain error in the coding where each particle of the grenade counted as a kill. So throwing it at dead bodies gave near instant super charge.
By them having added a 10 second cooldown it's now inadvertently rendered grenade multikills useless. So the titan and warlock get the short end of the stick as only the first kill from the grenade procs with the perk, while you will no longer benefit from any additional kills. Someone on here posted a video about it and you now get more super energy from wearing green armour and throwing a grenade. Please upvote this if you comprehend this issue and want a proper fix for it same as me. Grenade multikills should be aptly rewarded not punished as a byproduct of cheaters. Thanks
