Next up, Crota!
Have fun running through the abyss. It's kind of a pain until you're with a group that can tell you how to run through it.
Keep on keeping on though! As much as you've accomplished in that first raid, I guarantee it won't be the last time you set foot in the Vault. There's too much cool stuff to get from that raid! :)

i had to learn how to abyss by myself. i never had a team to teach me lol. just stuck on armamentarium and aftershocks and barely made it through on my striker, started using mida though, didn't have to throw grenades unless i messed up a jump.

Ooh damn. Lol you're braver than I. I've traversed the abyss more than a handful of times but seem to be the most successful with my Hunter. Another thing most people don't pay attention to in that part of the raid is how insanely useful the Icebreaker is. In dealing with a whole mess of Thralls, Firefly pretty much kills off an entire swarm with just one bullet. You should give that sniper rifle a try the next time you find yourself in the raid. :)

i solo it every week for people :P i use black hammer, and just run past the thrall, i never get mobbed because storm fist + pulse grenades. i used to run IB but it just wasnt enough to kill the yellow bar ogre when i had was doing it with IB.
