No. Deprecation happens. However, the example you just gave there is that the product got cheaper to about one third of its price. If we do the math here, since TTK is worth $40, that means new players are essentially paying $20 for the Year 1 content. We paid $140 for that, meaning we paid 7 times the price. It makes no sense that something deprecates to one seventh of its price in the space of a year, especially when it comes to games. The deal you mentioned includes a game published 3 years ago and one published a year ago. This is content that was published one year ago. There's a noticeable difference between 1/3 and 1/7 of the price.

You can deflect all you want; the fact that you can't understand some pretty basic economic principles coupled with your sustained sense of entitlement speaks volumes about the kind of person you are. Furthermore, I didn't really call you a shithead. I insinuated you must be either a little kid or an entitled, shithead teenager based on your attitude and actions. Once again, I'm right. Pretty normal around here.

  • You are so stubborn. "Once again. I'm right". That is something a teenager would say to make themselves feel better about themselves. If you are an adult then don't answer me after this, adults know when they should stop replying. If you reply then I won't respond. If you don't respond then maybe you will have some respect left in you

I don't need to feel better about myself. I'm already quite comfortable with who I am. If you haven't noticed, I'm pretty arrogant and self absorbed as it is. So much so that I couldn't care less what some uneducated, entitled, childlike, wannabe internet psychologist thinks about me. Your game is weak. You couldn't manipulate your way out of a plastic bag. But go ahead and keep trying :)

  • Please calm down, there's no need to throw around insults. I was civil about my points, if you want to oppose me then do so calmly. I'm cool with that. I was willing to take out my wallet because I pre-ordered the game and season pass based on the advertizement because Bungie had my faith based on how they made Halo so good. I am now being a bit more careful based on how the game has been delivered (it's not bad, but it's a little less than I expected). I appreciate their effort on HoW, but I would like if they appreciated me and the rest of us Day 1 players sticking around with more than just emblems/shaders/cosmetic items, or at least even offering us the Collector's Edition without the Year 1 stuff for something like $10 or such more (so that I wouldn't have to rebuy the damn game that I already own) then i would shut my mouth. I do care that I have to spend $80 for the Collector's Edition stuff and most of it is wasted because I already own it. I also slightly care that people are getting stuff for one seventh of the price meanwhile I paid in full even though it's only been a year. At least offer like a $5-10 discount on TTK for people who stuck around, and make the CE (without Year 1 content) $10 more than that. I would have no problem with that at all
