Deprecation has to be in moderation though. If we do the math, Taken King is worth $40, meaning that new players are getting the Year 1 content for $20. This is one seventh of the original price, which honestly you will never see even if you go to your local game shop to buy a 2 year old game. Sure, you might find it at even one third of the price in extreme cases with special deals, but this is a bit too much to be honest. If they want to give them that sort of discount we should be getting at least the Taken King (if not more future content too) for one seventh of the price as well.

Edit: bundling it with the previous dlc and TTK for 60$ isn't really a big issue. The problem is with the fact that the collectors edition is offering stuff unavailable in anyway to people who already own the game without re buying it.

One third is fine, but one seventh is too much. I agree on the Collector's Edition stuff as well, at least give us that for the loyalty package (or whatever it was called). Not even the physical items, just the digital stuff. Please.

Ikr. I was just abt ready to pre order TTK dlc until I found out abt all these different versions and how loyal players are getting the least amount of stuff. I want my emotes and class items too. Why not include it with TTK standalone dlc? If they included it a lot more people would have already clicked the pre order button lol I only buy digital games cuz I like to swap between stuff without changing discs and such so idc abt the physical things. Just actual content which it seems they're preventing us from getting :(
